Our story began in 2007 when our father, John Fitzpatrick, founded John Fitzpatrick Constructions. With a passion for building and a commitment to doing things the right way, John quickly established a strong reputation for delivering high-quality new homes and renovations across the region.
In 2009, John’s son Nathan began his carpentry apprenticeship under his father’s guidance. Over the years, Nathan worked side by side with John and Paula, helping to grow the business and strengthen its reputation for excellence in custom homes, renovations, and extensions.
Meanwhile, younger brother Jack pursued a career in plumbing. After completing his apprenticeship, he spent six years gaining experience and earning his plumbing licence—skills that would later become invaluable to the family business.
In 2023, after John’s well-earned retirement, Jack officially joined Nathan, and together, the brothers rebranded the company as Fitzpatrick Built.
Today, Nathan and Jack proudly carry on the family legacy, combining their complementary skills in carpentry and plumbing to offer a seamless, high-quality building experience. Nathan practically grew up on a building site, officially starting his carpentry apprenticeship under his father, John, back in 2009. Having spent over a decade working side-by-side with his parents to build the family’s reputation, Nathan has developed a keen eye for the finer details of custom homes and complex renovations. Now at the helm of Fitzpatrick Built, he brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a "do it once, do it right" attitude to every project. For Nathan, it’s not just about the build: it’s about carrying on a family legacy of quality craftsmanship.
Director and Licensed Plumber
Jack took a slightly different path into the trades, heading off to master the world of plumbing. After completing his apprenticeship and spending six years on the tools earning his full plumbing licence, he brought a specialized skill set back to the family fold in 2023. As a co-director of Fitzpatrick Built, Jack’s expertise ensures that the "bones" of every project are as solid as the finishes. He’s passionate about the seamless integration of trades, ensuring that clients get a smooth, stress-free experience from the first pipe to the final handover.
